Feeling: Entertained
- Buffet: Mandarin was Man-da-licious! Definitely worth the wait, and the amusing people that congregate at the Mecca of Mandarin on such a lovely Saturday evening.
- Bowl: Club 300 Bowl to be exact. Which ties directly in with numero tres,
- Broken: I BROKE A NAIL!
i KNOW HOW VALLEY-GIRL-ISH THIS SOUNDS....BUT I LITERALLY BROKE THE NAIL WHERE IT MEETS THE BLOOD VESSEL PART. IT KILLS!
It was an eventful night where I stuffed my kangaroo pouch with as much noodles, baked salmon, and oysters that they could whip up in the entire span that I was there! It was a very good-eat! I'm not one to usually go out for Chinese, as I am sensitive to different kinds, and have learned my way through the Grease vs. Less Grease category and thus, have remained loyal to my Authentic Chinese Take-Out called Lam Kee, Midland/Danforth area. Onto the next activity for the evening, we headed off to Club 300- Old Kennedy/Steeles. The weather was a brisk January breeze, but nonetheless mild for this time of year. So much so, that I neglected to wear a jacket/coat, in hopes that Spring buds would appear, and the dead chill of winter is long gone away. But to no avail, I am met with the chill that causes most animals to either:
a) go south
b) hibernate or
c) get extremely fat and fluffy.
The venue was pretty rammed -- more than I can remember. We get our lane, and I am up first to bowl...my first few are okay, a spare, here or there; but I can't ignore the sheer weight of the balls that we managed to get our hands on. I kept playing, but on the 8th, I let 'er rip and that is just what it felt like-- A TORN NAIL from my finger. It stung horribly and bled. How fun.
Either way, I had a great evening out! Too tired to ramble on. But had to fulfill my obligation. 'To Tomorrow!! Ta-Ta!
