I'm an Emotional Eater!
Feeling: Hungry..well, not really. I just want to eat.
I eat when I'm sad, or depressed, or upset, angry, frustrated...... AND when I'm happy, excited, thrilled, enthused, amused, & content. Okay, so I don't fit the cookie-cutter definition of an emotional-eater, but I sure am one, in my own right! Therefore, in dedication to my love of food. I will write today's -watermelon seed- using various food idioms!
So here it goes:
The Apple of my eye....
has been working up a storm since graduating Centennial College; and I'm proud to say that he's been as busy as a popcorn skillet at work. I know he would do great in construction, not only because of his previous experience, but because he does GREAT at any and every-thing that he puts his mind to. He's dedicated to his job and works very hard to bring home the bacon! He's so determined, and goal-driven that it consoles me to know that he really has his head on his shoulders... I think why we get along so well is that we are like two peas in a pod! Even from our younger days, we always thought alike and did alike. We have so much in common- despite our differences, that we balance each other out.
He's taught me how to deal with life, and how to react when things don't go exactly as planned. He made me realize that it's just the way the cookie crumbles!
hahaha that was fun :D
p.s.
the icing on the cake---- the weekend is almost here!!
