^ as for myself, I am in better spirits. The bitter bite of winter has let it's grip loose a bit, allowing the weather to be somewhat tolerable. (I am so NOT a winter-person) It's nice and sunny outside and I think that's helping =)
Here I am, sitting at the computer, playing fetch with Rocky. This dog has enough energy for 3! I think since I brought my talula parka, I'll take him for a nice (but quick) winter stroll.

- added sugar eg. to tea, coffee, baked goods
- *the white stuff eg. white breads...
- chocolate
- *crisps aka chips, anything fried & chip-like
- *pub snacks aka pork rinds
- processed meats eg. hot dogs, cold cuts, sausages
- caffeine as found in coffee, energy drinks
- alcohol, in the form of excessive/binge drinking. A drink or two is within the daily limit
- cigarettes
Taking note of my New Year's resolution, this show could not have come at a more opportune time. To sum up the points of the show, taking in the listed items does the following to your body
- poisons your body and blood
- excess sugar is converted to fat
- will cause long-term damaging effects leading to such things as heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes
- may cause fatigue, water retention, digestive problems, increased flatulence, bloatedness
Overall, this has given me further ground and stabilized my decision to eat healthier for the new year. I posted this to hopefully give you an idea of your present diet. If you can apply yourself to 6 or more of the above-listed items, then it is time to make a change. Use 2008 as a brand-new, healthy start to living!
